Welcome to the Centre for Planetary and Space Studies.
The CPSS is a joint venture by Trinity College, East Perth and the Mars Society Australia, Inc .
Our Objectives:
- To contribute a unique enhancement to the science and technology education program at Trinity College
- To found Australia's first research institute within a secondary school
- To forge better links between community and Trinity College through a common interest in space and space exploration
- To provide a physical base of operations for the Mars Society of Australia's Starchaser Rover vehicle
- To develop a practical and educational centre for astronomy, astronautics and space simulation.
Our Mission Statement:
"To inspire a new resolve to explore the frontier of space, and to foster scientific and technical capabilities supporting the peaceful exploration of the solar system and the worlds beyond."
Lecture Series are generally held in the Senior Lecture Theatre, Trinity College, Trinity Ave, East Perth, all welcome. Follow the "SPACE LECTURE - THIS WAY" signs.
