LOYAL CLASS FLEET TENDER ( * * )

The vessels of the LOYAL class were built by "Holmes" to a Royal Navy design in the 1970's for transporting stores, personnel and to do a vatiety of jobs around the fleet. They were also used to train personnel for times of emergency, when they were known as RNXS (Royal Navy Auxiliary Service)> The vessels normally carry a crew of 5 officers and men and have an extensive range at a cruising speed of 10.5 knots.

The kit enables the modeller to build a model of any one of the 8 vessels of the Loyal class, or with slight modifications, any one of the 33 vessels of the 'A', 'B', 'X' class tenders. The comprehensive instructions and drawings make the Loyal a fairly simple model to build for modellers of average skills. The model performs and looks superb on the water.
