SHAMROCK - POLICE LAUNCH
The model is a semi-scale police launch at 1/24th scale based on Halmatic's M160 Class fast patrol craft, which is approximately 16m in leangth, displacing 18 tonnes with a top speed of 27 knots. Three such vessels are in service with various Caribbean Island States. SHAMROCK is operated by the police on the Island of Montserrat.
The kit is designed as an introduction to the skills and techniques of constructing a model from a fibreglass hull and styrene for deck and superstructure. The full size plan and 63 explode construction drawings will ensure success for a newcomer with just a little experience in model building.
Specifications: Scale 1:24th scale, Length (except RIB) 685mm.
Required for Operation: 2-channel radio control system in conjunction with a servo and electronic speed controller, 1 X 550-size motor (and coupling) running on one 6v - 7.2v Nicad Pack.
